Meet the Candidates

Senator Grace Cabral was born and raised in the state of Florida before graduating from Harvard Law School and starting a career as a lawyer. Soon after, she entered the political arena and ran for the Senate. Cabral is currently serving her third term representing Florida and is running for President as a moderate Democrat.

Senator Gideon Helf is a native Pennsylvanian, growing up in New Hope, PA before studying economics at the University of Pittsburgh. He started his own law firm after attending Columbia Law School. He served in the House of Representatives for three terms before running for Senate in 2010. Helf is currently serving his second term as Pennsylvania Senator.

Democratic Presidential candidate Bennett Solomon is a self-described “entrepreneur, lawyer, successful Senator, father, and extremely hard-worker.” After receiving a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Florida, Solomon went on to attend Yale Law School. He has served as Senator of Minnesota for the past five years.

Mizuki Brent, a Republican candidate, announced her candidacy after eight years of serving Texas in the Senate. Growing up in rural Texas, she has fought to boost the economy in neglected, impoverished areas. Inspired by her Japanese background, she received a bachelor’s degree in international relations, and went on to get a PhD from Harvard Law School.

Ali Hammoud is a Democatic Presidential hopeful. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Air Force. Hammoud then trained as an astronaut, completing repair of the Hubble Space Telescope. This inspired him to become Mayor of his hometown, Dearborn, Michigan, before announcing his candidacy.

Republican Presidential hopeful Logan Glazier has built his campaign around his background, serving the United States in the military. He attended Harvard University before joining the military at 23, where he served for 11 years. Glazier then represented the state of Florida in the Senate for 12 years before announcing his Presidential campaign.
