Media endorses Senator Bennett!

The Daily Derenberger proudly announces their endorsement of Senator Bennett Solomon (D) for the 2020 presidential election.

Senator Bennett Solomon is a proud American and born-and-raised Minnesotian. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Florida and a master’s from Yale University law school, Solomon served his home state as senator for the past 5 years. He is friendly and polite amongst his competitors in the debates, but is willing to fight for his platform.

Senator Solomon has consistently shown his popular appeal as a democratic frontrunner in each of the Daily Derenberger’s polls. In the most recent poll, Solomon won 69.2% of the Democrat vote and was the only Democrat in the running for the general election.

On Instagram, Solomon posts creative “stories” and humorous videos among posts going after fellow Democrat’s scandals and shaking hands with Republican competitors. His active social media and website filled with inspirational quotes show his successful efforts in connecting to the public.

After the Daily Derenberger exposed the candidate’s possible use of a false social security number to hide his financial history, Solomon quickly denied the claims as “misreported. However, he held his composure and avoided attacking the media (as other candidates foolishly did after scandals).

Solomon is transparent about his budget priorities: climate change, then health care, then education. He recognizes the imminent danger of climate change and plans to act on it by allocating government funds toward his goal of 100% clean energy. In his environmental platform, Solomon stresses the need to educate the public on environmental issues and cooperate with local government officials to act on the climate crisis.

The Solomon campaign is the only campaign that prioritizes education policy. Solomon focuses on choice in education, equality for public school educators and students, equal access to higher education, mental health resources, and healthy school lunches. He outlines specific plans to reach these goals, such as starting higher education funds at birth and incorporating mental health seminars into school curriculums.

Solomon proves himself as a viable option for independent voters. Through his moderate tax plan, Solomon aims to eliminate the wealth tax while making income taxes more progressive and ridding the system of loopholes. He also aims to focus on private health care while setting aside programs to help lower income Americans in need.

Solomon aims to take on the immigration problems at the borders with humanity, avoiding violence and separating families. He plans to ensure the safety of our country by working closely with the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Team and enforcing background checks. The Solomon campaign focuses on cooperation and diplomacy with our allies and their militaries. He hopes to boost the United States economy through investing in workers and enforcing trade laws. In regards to the deployment of troops abroad, Solomon believes that the troops should be brought home so they can protect our nation.
